How you likin' the Nokians? They're great compared to the old tires on my Cannondale, but I threw my Michelins on my Dawg yesterday and it handled even better in the corners. Of course, the only limiting factor on my puppy's performance so far is the rider.

Have not much to compare it to besides what are on my other bikes. But so far, I am impressed with the bike in general. It doesn't scare me like the Cake. I feel that I can be a little more expressive on this one. I am so glad that I didn't let it get away with all what I went through to get it.

Which Michelins?

I'm really glad you managed to get it, too. Never ridden a Cake, and I was a lot less enthused about the Dawg than my buddy was, but it's definitely the best bike I've owned.

Shoot, I can't remember which tires they are. They're XC, tho and have a softer compound for better traction. 2.1", but they don't look any smaller than the Nokians to me. They have a little more aggressive tread and closer-spaced knobs, too. I'll find out what model tomorrow and tell you. I can't go outside to check right now...it's dark out there!

Like I ride most freeride and allmountain type stuff and some DJ thrown in allthough I mostly use my BMX for jumps. ANd when I got one I have yet to have my chain drop. and It's awesome

I recomend the E.13 SRS, I have a 32T and 36T chain ring I run depending on what I'm riding
I'd have more motivation to buy one if the dirt jumps werent all in a pack real close to each other, because i hit them all without pedaling in between. Then i just keep pedaling because my chains been knocked off and it comes back on and its all good again. yay

That's the full squish of seatposts I guess? That puts the little spring in my moms schwinn seatpost to shame.

Thanks for the compliments...Yep, that is a Cane Creek Thudbuster Seatpost, it has made my Trek more bearable to ride on rough terrain..not quite a boinger really...here are some of the reviews..

I couldn't get a pic from outside since I forgot the camera but this will do.

Since the last post I've upgraded:

Crank Brothers 5050X
Ritchey OS Comp Stem
Race Face Diabolous OS 28" (not right for my height, but I like the feel of the wider bars) Handlebars
Avid BB7 Front 8"
Panaracer Smoke/Dart Tires
