mtnbiker66, just wanted to see if you could shoot me those directions when you get the chance. I'm trying to work out my travel plans.
Thanks.
Thanks.

How soon do you need them? If you can wait till Sunday evening I 'll have the camp site. If I can't get that site I don't want to give you wrong directions.

I'm thinkin' I'll be there early Saturday. Just not enough time for the sleepin' before the afternoon ride Friday and, knowing me, I'll need quite a bit to catch up on my deficit I'll build throughout the week. I'd like to keep the truck between the ditches, so I think I'll just roll out after a good rest and make the Sat/Sun festivities. I can meet everybody at the campsite(just need directions) or Sycamore Cycles. Word!

I got my stuff set up on the same site we had in the spring. There's a no camping sign at the upper end where a small fire ring had been built but I think we're fine. We had to wait untill some other folks moved out to snag it.Thanks girlscout,he wached it while I was out for a ride on Longbranch/buttergap(first day of the sesonals opening). I'll be taking fire wood and some other things about mid week.

Thanks for getting the site set up. I'm ready. Still trying to get my work done so I can take all of Friday off. Haven't ridden that much this last month or two, but rode three out of the last four days, so hopefully I can keep up.

Wheeliemert, bryan & his girl, a pack of dogs, and me confirmed this afternoon.
I've got some firewood and I'll be bringing a propane camp stove and a small charcoal grill for burgers or whatever.
Mert and I will be heading out early on Friday, stopping at Cane Creek for a bit, and getting to camp around noon. The others will probably roll in mid to late afternoon.

I hate to say it, but unforeseen circumstances in the House O' Karldar have postponed my visit indefinitely. Nothing terrible, but nothing I can blow off, either. Sorry, guys. I will make it out there as soon as I can, I promise you that....

I have chosen to give up what would be an awesome weekend of epic riding and tons of fun, to help further my photography career. I’ll be putting the finishing touches on my studio and doing two possibly three photo shoots this weekend (the paying kind). I’m not too thrilled about missing the trip, but I’ll make it up there again before too long.
So... Everybody make sure you bring your cameras!

I'm still coming.
Everything lined up and ready to go. Did some maintainence on my bike and its running well. Adjusted the brakes, serviced my bb to get rid of the god forsaken creaking, tensioned my wheels (ok so my shop tensioned the wheels ), and installed a new rear shifting cable. Bike is running smoooooth now. Trying to decide if i should put some longer pins on my pedals for the trip. I think im going to need the extra pedal grip.
Just gotta go and buy several gallons of water. Anything else i should bring? Firewood?

Im going to leave here between 3 and 4am. So early afternoon.
If you can give me directions from sycamore cycles to the camp site i can make my own way there. That way you're free to ride if you want rather than waiting around to rendezvous with me.
