You get equal billing with a law firm on the jersey. Maybe they can sue your clients

That lawyer on the jersey used to be one of my clients. It's a small world.

They better stop showing slow motion HDTV replays on the MLB broadcasts, because it's making the umpires look pretty friggin incompetent. Ouch.

How does that umpire @ 3B not know the rules of baseball? Both those Yankees were standing off the base and were tagged out.

Brutal. Heads should roll.

He's the head umpire, and a pretty famous umpire. I think he's drunk.

Saturday a bunch of us did this;

One of the fast guys flatted around mile 20 and the other goats stayed with him. The rest of us went ahead and my hammer princess friend took off ahead of us. A new guy went after her and got on her wheel. He told her he "used to race" and she was doing it wrong. He started warning her about blowing up, don't stand up, blah blah blah.
Around mile 30 she had heard enough and just rode him off of her wheel. She's a great climber.

I always like when someone tells you what to do.
I think it was Brad Pitt who was always approached in the gym on proper lifting techniques and said, "I don't listen to anybody who is in worse shape than me."

All I was trying to do was tell him to keep his elbows slightly bent when doing tricep pushdowns.

Just don't take weightlifting advice from Stafon Johnson.

I used to see a lot of guys bench with their thumbs curled around the bar on the same side as their fingers - instead of gripping the bar. The bar could easily slide right off your palms. I wonder if that's how he held the bar?

I think delivery of helpful advice is all in the timing and how you say it because I only help people who look like they're having a hard time with something. I'm hardly a qualified expert on all things cycling but when things are obviously wrong I mention it so they don't get hurt.

I agree, there's an obvious wrong way of doing things. But when some one who looks like they've never worked out a day in their lives comes up and say's, "You should use the ab-rocker over in the corner there. That's what I use and it really blasts your abs."

I look at his big, sweaty, belly then my chiseled, buff 8-pack (so buff it has two extra cans), then back at his gut, then walk off.

Now if I was on the mat rolling my neck up like I was trying to pull off my head and screaming in pain, and someone walked over and kindly showed me the proper technique, I would listen.

There's definitely a place for advice, but this dweeb just thought since she was a girl, he could prove himself to her, I guess. Once she dropped him he came back and rode with the group I was in. When the faster guys decided to add an extra few miles, he declined.
