Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

You make a mockery of the fabled Go Ahead Ask Pcad Anything 199 Thread at your own peril.

Also, rephrase your inquiry in the form of an intelligent question.

Since when do we have to ask intelligent questions? I'm boycotting this until I can ask stupid questions.

My calculations have determined that it's good to have $50K in annual household income for each $2K you want to drop on bike schwag each season.

Don't tell my wife.

My old avatar was a photo of me racing when my daughter was <1 year old. She turns 16 in December, I figured it was time for an update: the current photo is from a race last weekend.

On the other hand the old avatar picture does have gsteinb in the peloton behind me, and that is arguably the last time I finished in front of him in a bicycle race.
