Running 9 speed chain on SLX M7000 chainring

Running 9 speed chain on SLX M7000 chainring
So, I bought this chainring: https://bike.shimano.com/en-EU/produ.../SM-CRM70.html and as you see, it says 11/10 speed. However, right now, the bike I am going to install it has a 9 speed Sunrace cassette and is using a 9 speed KMC chain. I want to know if it will run on the chainring? Some peopoe told me yes. But still, I want to know before I remove it in the packaging.
