Seven Sola
Hi, apologies if it’s not old enough or vintage enough. A buddy has a 2000 Seven Sola ti 17 1/2” bike (26” wheels) he wants to part with. Likely needs a refresh and Sid fork rebuilt. Wondering ballpark value. He is looking for $600. I know it’s a ti bike and when new was expensive but it’s still 20 yrs old.
What do you think, should I grab it up and make a project out of it. I am not in need of a bike and will likely get scolded for bringing another one home, but I love ti frames.
thanks

Seven? Good.
Titanium? Good.
Blown fork? This is the tricky part. If you can rebuild, great. If you can't, have to a find a suitable replacement.
26er? Better prices since the pandemic, but still not as popular as 29er.
$600 is a good deal if it fits and you can rebuild/replace the fork.
