I'm a little embarassed by this thread. The OP is not asking for everyone to please voice their support or dissent for affirmative action. This is a call for us to spread the word on bike touring to people who haven't been included in the U.S. It's a good thing for us, a good thing for the world.... why are we turning this into a pissing contest to see who's the most colorblind?

People from different ethnicities are treated in different ways, that's kind of a fact of the world. Can't we do something productive to break down walls here in this forum?
