At the FDR memorial.
"We must scrupulously guard the civil rights and civil liberties of all citizens, whatever their background. We must remember that any oppression, any injustice, any hatred is a wedge designed to attack our civilization."

My mate (a mtb touring spastic) has ridden that 'highway' I believe.
Heres some of mine. You'll have to excuse the non-fixed/ss content as I just don't have any pix of me riding them. If you see a road bike or mountainbike, just pretend its a fixie, okay?
Singletrack a 10 minute ride from the CBD? You betcha.
Williamstown. I often ride down there on my roadie training rides or on the weekend for some fish and chips. Nice view of the city (Melbourne, Australia) from there.
However, some parts of the city are pretty ugly and can only be beautified by the addition of a sweet orange bike.
Wecome to what we refer to as 'the bush'.
Riding along a tough 50km stretch of the Great South West Walk, and 20kms from anywhere out pops a picnic table? WTF? Wish I'd bought a tent, some food and some beer.

think you're crafty with the bike?
Been living in China for almost a month now, there's no end to the things people put on bikes here. A prime example is this guy:
Another common sight is this use of a rear rack:
And this is one of my favorite pics I've taken while riding:
There's a load more pictures taken on and off the bike around Shanghai to be found at https://humanvelocity.org/pages/pictures.php for anyone that's interested.
