no offense, but I think that deep V's are incredibly uncomplmentary to this bike. I do like this bike otherwise though.

personally, i think the rensho looks a little bit like a broke ass circus...colors are all over the place. im not really one to be a fashion ***** when it comes to bikes, but if you're obviously gonna try and be all hip, atleast see it through.

It's just the rim stickers, nothing more.

I agree about the rim stickers. In fact, I told him yesterday how lame they look.

but I think hating on deep vs is silly for a lot of reasons. One of which is, if they were high profile campy 1996 rims, (which Jake also has and occasionally runs) no one would say anything negative. In fact, people might complement him on his taste. So if you're hating on someone for their choice of bike aesthetics and adding the disclaimer "im not really one to be a fashion *****" then what you're really trying to say is you disapprove of the brand name and possibly what it stands for?

Okay, I get that a lot of people think deep vs are synonymous to the hipster boom into the fg/track world... but hell, they're a solid rim and people use them because they like them.

Jake has spent a lot of time and effort on his bike. I think it looks rad. And I know for a fact that he loves it and rides it every damn day.

COME ON, LOVE ONE ANOTHER!

Slotted cleat wear is instant cred, mang.

Also, the Hank tires are quite possibly the best cruiser-width tires on the market.

Dont fret about rustang. Most of the threads he starts are about. " How do i get a cog off?" " where is the secret pocket on my chrome bag", " How do i measure Stem/ Bars?" "How do i get a chain pin back in?"

Your bike jacob is great, all your bikes are. And Kudos to you for knowing how to put at least half the parts on it by yourself haha.

No, 128's was red. That one is the big money one Strattond had a few weeks ago.

I'm with rustang on this one. that ride is a potpourri of k3wl components, none of which match.

jacobpriest - your bike is sex. Screw the fashionistas, it's superbly spec'd. We build our rides the way we want because THAT'S THE WAY WE WANT THEM. If people don't like it, fine, but if they get nasty about it then they can just blow it out their collective ass.

Just not necessarily the way i would want to get respect. Openly moking and or making fun of people doesnt work in online forums/work/school/life.

Where you at sk8r. hope your not a h8r. l8r m8. haha. just playing. tehehe.
