Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Rack suggestions, want flexibility to haul canoe as well

Any rack suggestions for a 2011 Honda Odyssey?
Would like flexibility to haul canoe as well.
Looking at a few systems and wonder what folks have used successfully.
Thanks

Roof rack is what's next.

Lot's of stuff out there, Thule and Yakima are the leaders also the priciest. Then there's Rocky Mounts and others.

At a very basic level, a foot kit with adapters for the vehicle, plus load bars. Then strap/tie the canoe down. Then for cycling, a set of bike trays in either a fork mount, an upright with a downtube clamp (least recommended), or the newer wheel bracket design. Plus a small ladder to gain access to the roof on a tall vehicle.

Then all the assorted outdoors folks, REI, EMS, Campmor, LL Bean, Cabela's,
Plus most of the on-line cycling sites carry stuff.
