Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Oh, he's (she's?) fine - I'm not reading it as angry. Just 20's dramatical.

I don't know, I wasn't trying to sound angry, really! In fact, the guy whose bike my original comment was for probably doesn't care as much as anyone else who has posted after.
I'm a little surprised at the resurgence of the 80's neon, but I don't know who's to blame. Whatever - I'm fine with the colors as long as no one releases a special edition Trapper Keeper paint job.

Yes, because a self-described "grown man in spandex" having a discussion about offending some kid's sensibilities on the Internet over a bike's color scheme screams he's got life figured out, right? Stop picking on us children, why don't you?!

This makes me laugh because I was considering yellow & black splash bar tape - as that'd be "period-correct" - for a 1997 Litespeed Catalyst.

But ohmygod it is ugly. I went with light blue instead. Not hot, but looks good w/the titanium frame, and most importantly it ain't yellow.

Isn't there a website dedicated to the atrocities on the pupils of many committed by splash tape? But yeah, if it's yellow, don't let it mellow.

I like it! High vis helps keep you on the tires and not under a set.

Is it glossy? I think that the one I'm looking at is matte, but there doesn't seem to be one on a sales floor within 300 miles. I'd be better with gloss, but whatever.

That was my team bike last year except it had dura ace 9000 on it and bright orange tape. Kicked ass!

That thing is horrendous, and it actually looks more like a kiddie bike to me. In other words, yes.

I thought this was Hot or Not, not "what ugly Giant is this?"

Can someone do something about providing more hot and less Giant?

It's a nice bike, but there's really nothing that makes it hot.

i like the bike for the most part, but the graphics look bad IMO.

I agree. They are not the best complimenting design. The frame itself is pretty but Giant doesn't seem to care much about the exotic look, they are not supposed to be. They are generally great bikes for the money.

Reason I own the S Works is because they look so good (to me) and i find them very sexy. The TCR frame is probably better than the tarmac but I still love my tarmac.
