VERY OLD GROCERY BOKE - $50 (DURHAM)

"VERY OLD GROCERY BIKE $50 919 824 8552"

(Perhaps this belongs in "Wacky..." for its humourous content and my punishable pun, but I choose otherwise; it's interesting and reasonably priced.)

Who doesn't love a lugged MTB with Suntour stuff? SR is kinda rare and I don't recall seeing any that were crap; otoh this one seems to have some parts deleted or replaced. Fifty smackers

Yup, that is a Professional without the decals.

The same seller is also offering up this Scapin with some nice Campy bits for $400, could be a great rider since it is Columbus EL tubing.

edit: might just be my eyes but the seat tube angle looks pretty slack.....?

Looks like a literal barn find. Sad to see a good bike neglected, but much of that should clean up nicely.

For $300 I would take a chance on it. I bet that would clean up nice.

I agree, if it were my size and local I'd have picked it up by now. That just looks like dust, grime and a little rust on some parts like the headset; it should clean up easily.

But still trawling craigslist. Here's an early Ross MTB with a nice gold anno groupo.

Masi - Campagnolo 50th anniversary

This might be someone's Grail bike...I guess it would have to be for that price.

Masi - Campagnolo 50th anniversary - $5500 (Longwood FL)

condition: excellent
**pictures taken outside but bike has been inside in mint condition on the wall. It was my father's who passed 18 years ago and my grandmother kept it in his room. It's a gem. **
Size is SMC54
Built in approximately 1983. It has a Campagnolo 50th Anniversary groupset gruppo Super Record. It has gold emblems on almost all pieces.
Campagnolo is made in Italy and is the best and most expensive of all bicycle hardware...gears, brakes, etc. The 50th Anniversary set is extremely desirable and his is in Excellent condition.

You may have been exaggerating, but I'm 6'3" and those dimensions on that Bianchi (It is a large bike with a 22.5" top tube length and 24.5" center-to-top seat tube length.) are nearly identical to my PXN10E that fits me well. I imagine whoever is riding it is a bit shorter based on how little seat post is showing in that pic compared to mine.

Nice looking bike!

Beat Nishiki Cresta GT $75. Suntour and other decent bits, would make great around town workhorse that might not get stolen for a day or two if left outside.

'94 Viner Road Bike - 61cm, lugged steel, Shimano 105 STI - $350 (Somerville)

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap
28 Alpine St
(google map)

make / manufacturer: Viner
size / dimensions: 61cm
Classic Italian made Viner road bike for sale! This bike has seen its fair share of use but is in great working condition. There is a good sized ding on the top tube but it does not affect the ride at all. The frame is still perfectly aligned and the bike has had a complete tune-up and is ready to roll.

It's a classic lugged steel frame measuring 61cm center to center. The drop-outs are horizontal so its an excellent candidate for conversion to single speed. I am a former professional bike mechanic and went over it head to toe including a headset overhaul and it runs great.

My father rode this bike for years but is unfortunately not able to ride it any more and we are looking for a good home for it.

Frame: 61cm center to center, lugged Columbus Cromor tubing, horizontal dropouts
Fork: Columbus Cromor chrome
Bars: Cinelli 44cm deep drop
Stem: Cinelli 130mm
Rims: Fir EA50 clinchers
Tires: Bontrager 700x25c
Hubs: Shimano 105
Brakes: Shimano 105
Shifter/Brake Lever: Shimano 105 STI
Front Derailleur: Shimano 105
Rear Derailleur: Shimano 105
Headset: Shimano 105
Pedals: Look
Seatpost: Aero (unknown brand)
Seat : Generic (unknown brand)
BB: Sealed (unknown brand)
Computer: Specialized

yes a bit overpriced for a pieced together ride...but it is orange

I've been interacting with this seller on another listing they've got up. Seems pretty reasonable so far.

That said, the equipment (minus the shift levers) makes me thing this is actually an early '70s Jeunet 630. Very similar. It's a repaint, and the pics don't show enough to confirm or deny it.

Thanks very much! I did not think it was a px10 but Jeunet 630 is a nice bike. I've seen it in yellow before, but not a bad price, considering. Good to know the seller is decent!
