Hi Stu, welcome to the forum.
I don't have any experience with the Rocky Mountain rack, but I see one potential issue. The front wheel clamp may cause a problem if you have fenders on your bike. It does look like a well thought out rack.
I use a similar rack, but the clamps use the top tube instead of the front wheel to hold the bike on the rack.
