Hopefully he'll start to at least carry a pump and spare tube.

How pissed would the fans have been if he didn't make it. Maybe a riot against bikes.

Like the riots against border officials (a cancelled concert) or the riots against not being able to use cameras (a cancelled concert).

Rioters gonna riot.

Also lol @ the thought of Dave Matthews Band fans rioting... duuude chillax you're messin up my Birks.

That reminds me of a buddy who lived near an outdoor stadium in Denver. He was talking to a local cop who was telling him of the problems they had with out-of-control fans at many of the performances.
My buddy replied:

"Well, Garrison Keillor is scheduled next weekend. Are you expecting any issues with his fans?"

Well a prior generation with a similar outlook contained folks who joined/created groups like the Weatherman...

History would tend to demonstrate that hippies (and hippy wanabees) can be just as violent as anyone else when they get their dander up...

Actually, from what I hear these days from my venue working friends: some of the nicest groups of people that go to concerts are the metal fans.

They are probably all bark and no bite. I've never really been a fan of the style, but I saw an interview with Alice Cooper at a restaurant he owned, and he seemed like a nice guy.

That's been my experience too. Metal fans are there for the music; other fans are there for the party atmosphere.

Specialized S-Works. I know he had an S-works Epic, not sure if that was the one he was on, but the bit of tire I saw in a pic looked like it could be that one.
