This would get you 11,500ft of climbing with no repeats:

Alternatively you could do GMR->Ski lifts twice and get 15k feet in about 104mi:

Big climbs

Start at Encanto--go to Dawson--then down to the East fork, up Little GMR, to the Village or the ski lifts, and then down GMR back to Encanto.
Without the ski lifts, it's 118 miles/19k climbing. With the ski lifts, 130 miles/22+ k of climbing.

The loop up 39 to Hwy 2 and back down 2 will give you 15k feet in about 105 miles (make sure you visit Crystal Lake café for a snack and the extra 700 feet).

You can also climb Hwy 2 to Dawson, and descend 39. Go via Little GMR for an extra boost.

I have many of these routes plotted on MapMyRide if you want to take a look (username bitingduck).

Enjoy!

In the Santa Monica Mountains you can easily do 15K in a day. The mountains go along the coast for 30 miles and there are 11 major ascents and a lot of smaller ones.

Here's a blog from a cyclist that did some crazy climbing in one day:

And here's a database of inclines, mainly in the Santa Monica's:
