Steel Frameset suggestion
Any suggestion on a steel frameset/bike that can be used as kind of a beater to learn some tricks on and probably fall but not too heavy and can be used on chill rides or climbs. 32c tire clearance

Personally, if that is what you want it for I'd be looking at a "vintage" steel mountain bike as a base. There are any number of models of older Treks or Specialized that would be perfect for what you want. They are robust, reasonably light and certainly can handle larger tires. Don't go for one with a suspension fork, there are plenty around that will have cro-mo forks.

70s or 80s 10 speed and change parts as desired. Could also check bikesdirect.com to see what fits your needs.

A Surly Steamroller could be a good bike for that. I wouldn't call it a beater but certainly plenty of people beat on their frames.

4130 double butted tubing frame, that's one will last rides forever. And there a tons of them. Just make sure its write 4130 butted. No fancy thin wall steel tubes like Reynold 7x 9x or whatever, those is super nice riding and expensive. One heavy crash probably send you to nearby LBS to get it fix.
I try looking in Retrogression shop for you, these probably suit you. Pake Rum Runner, All City Big Block, Soma Rush. But be aware, these frame is quite aggressive.
If you want more road friendly, try looking at Surly Steamroller, that steel frame is more road geometry, forgiving riding.

You might fit 32s on a Soma Rush but I wouldn't count on it. Otherwise it's great if you like a more aggressive frame that rides well.

some BMX companies made stuff like that recently. Poseidon has the FX Tracklocross frameset, but it's aluminum.

The Milwaukee Bruiser from Ben's is also a decent option, just not belt drive. And the above poster is correct, Ben's is the only place that sells MKE branded bikes (made by Waterford).
