Is this a jersey celebrating cheese? Does it look like this?

Gotta love that dairyland devotion. BTW, as a resident just south of the border, I very much enjoy riding in Wisconsin. Met and ridden with many BF members, none of whom have sported a green/gold combo on the road... or any hi-viz orange for when it's deer season...

Dude, the jersey is a goof on pretentious cycling gear. It's sweet looking, though. I think it's modelled after Merckx old Molteni team jersey.
Don't worry. No one in the US will know any better. Rock that jersey with pride on the roads.

Molteni was a sausage factory that I believe was shut down because of unsanitary food processing conditions.

if its a joke or not im not sure formaggio means cheese in italian i believe. and capellini and rotini are pasta noodles. but if you google formaggio it comes up with 1960 retro jersey and dosent say anything about being a joke OR anything about a racing team. if its fake and i can play it off as being real like cyloew97 says no one in the us is going to know. until i run into a dago on my side of town yelling "formaggio..formaggio".
hell regardless i already bought it and its on the way and i like cheese anyways.

I can hardly believe you are serious. The jersey is a flat out joke. Formaggio is indeed cheese in Italian and the rest of the words are different kinds of pasta noodles. It's retro style, not replica. I have the green, white, and red one with different cheese types instead of pasta noodles. I bought it because after years of racing I am now a recreational rider and can be as fred as I want to (and I ride an Italian bike and am marrying an Italian woman), so I bought a jersey that makes fun of the advertising and such. It's still a nice looking jersey. You an me are teammates I guess... how cheesy!

STEVO, if I see you out on the Chicagoland roads, I'll be sure to say "Bonjourno!" or something. BTW, where are you in the Chicago area?

I have that one too....in the Molteni replica.
I get a lot of compliments and laughs about it.
One guy at work even calls me "CheeseRacer."
It's all tongue-in-cheek.

and since their is no team formaggio i will start TEAM FORMAGGIO. rules of entry are simple, you must have a formaggio jersey, have a love for cheese, and have a love for pasta. i will be waiting for your entry forms.

Favorite cheese - Mozerella
Favorite Pasta - Lasagna
My in-laws are near OP (well, sort of), in New Lenox. It's flat as a fricking pancake down there! Did the Joliet Sudden Century back in May. 100 miles with about a total of 6 feet of climbing...

as for your TEAM FORMAGGIO entry remember you need the jersey. the love for the cheese and pasta is just as important but the jersey will make it official.
