Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Frame from the Future : CERVELO S-Series

Everything looks new to these old eyes, yesterday I was passed by a CERVELO S-Series S5 Disc Ultegra Di2 Road Bike.
I try not to let others pass me or get too far up the road with out putting up a challenge somehow.. but this guy was gone.
Have to say it looked good, that bike, what I could see of it- I like the bar design and the tight-looking frame geometry.
i think they got this one right.
Wasn't my ancient BMC to blame, probably my much older legs that let this guy slip up the road..
but NEXT time i see him I will catch-up and pester him with questions.

How did you know what groupset the bike had?

Cervelo makes great bikes. I had a Soloist back in the day, even with 15+ year old tech that thing was fast. I prefer their R and C bikes personally.

Love Cervélos, but yeah... that frame is a bit old. At least, it’s not even new, let alone “the future”.
