Newb from Oklahoma
Greetings all. I've been hanging around for a couple months now and thought I'd chime in. Picked up a new Trek FX3 in July mostly due to the gyms being closed and for a chance to ride with an older friend- he's 77, I'm 57-that's been riding for a year or so. Hadn't ridden a bike in close to 40 years and I'm currently obsessed with it, this forum being part of it. Generally ride 4 days a week or so and have quickly outgrown my buddies capabilities so I'm usually doing hard days solo prior to easier rides with him.
Already thinking about centuries and more speed and will get a road bike when (if) I ever outgrow the FX3. Put a butterfly bar on it and it's plenty comfortable for me.
Looking forward to the continuing education, support, and tales of flying up mountains!
