Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Oops.
Hey...I use ALL of my gears
Also...I am new to a compact crank and am having some cadence issues, as in, how to find the right one, especially when I am tired.

Monday morning commute this week. Pokegama bridge south of Grand Rapids, MN. It was nasty hot, humid, and foggy. I know, I know, HTFU...

We took a trip down to Cape Paterson and Inverloch on Saturday ...

Although it is the middle of winter here, we had a lovely day and it was so nice to cycle along the ocean.

Here's a couple from a ride up to Tioga Pass in Yosemite National Park:

Tenaya Lake

Stopped at this meadow with a pond above 9,000 feet to catch my breath:

And this one is from the summit of Ebbet's Pass this past June, on a training ride for the Death Ride (another frozen water shot):

Wawawai county park just off the Snake River. It really makes the 6.5 mi climb worth it when I can jump in after the descent.

Lake Erie. My bike is the CAAD9. I had to take it easy riding through a bunch of grass to get down here, but there was a nice breeze blowing off the lake so it made the perfect spot to cool off on a hot/humid day.
