I agree with BillyD, you do have a way using just the right words. Maybe you could help the rest of us out with an article in Cycling or better yet a You Tube video with examples of the best words to use in a variety of situations. For instance, some words to employ if run off the road by a pickup truck or by the best words to use if run off the road by a beamer. Just a couple suggestions off the top of my head.

Many people have wondered why it is that Italy is getting hit so hard. Several possible reasons come up:
On Feb 19th, there was a soccer match between Atalanta(Bergamo) and Valencia(Spain), played in Milan, with 40,000 fans traveling from Bergamo to Milan for the match (and many who didn't travel would have watched it from crowded bars/restaurants back home).

I am wondering what things would look like over here if March Sadness had not been cancelled.
- Do they smoke more?
- An older population?
- Older people that go to mass every day?

My wife was born and raised in Italy, and she thinks the reason Italy was hit so hard was because of the family structure. It is not uncommon for grandparents all the way down to grand children all living under one roof. When she lived there she lived with her mom and dad, grand parents uncle and aunt, and three cousins. Also, in Italy, the idea of bulk buying food really isn’t a thing. Most italians are at the market everyday buying fresh ingredients.
Italy also has a pretty large elder population. So a combination of these things is why Italy was affected so much we think.

And, not for nuthin', but La Passione, another cycling apparel company, has some pretty snazzy stuff coming down the pipeline. In a year when I prolly won't see as much group riding, I might need me some new solo peacock feathers gear.

Didn't we decide a while back that rjones was the Addiction historian? Super investigative work.

Beautiful morning but it will rain later.
Kind of want to get out and ride but I also need to get supplies from the farmers market, which opens in 45 min.
Kind of want to get the dogs out rabbiting but might actually wait for the weather to foul up a little. Weird I know but there’s so many people out in our open spaces when the sun is out. I’m looking for solitude, not crowds. Plus lol people who see me running the dogs on rabbit helpfully try to catch the dogs. Not gonna happen but it is funny when people make a move for Puppy Love and she gives them her over the shoulder stink eye while diverting elegantly around them. Whereas Baby Ash gives them staccato evasive maneuvers and the stationary “stop and bark”. #stylisticallyvariable
Kind of feel like I should be starting a batch of bread rising right now instead of writing this post. Because we’re out of bread and grocery-obtaining is such a cluster right now. If I can’t get bread at the FM, I’ll need to bake some of my own.

Nicely done. I would post a photo of you riding your bike in that XL jersey, but it's already in your file on rjones' computer.

You know, we're lucky that if this was going to happen, it happened now. Twenty years ago we had no rapid delivery, no streaming, no video chat, most people couldn't SMS, and even fewer could telecommute. For us here on BF we have an embarrassment of riches in smart trainers and apps. Even five or ten years ago the prospect of a few weeks or more of voluntary house arrest would have been far bleaker.

I think our governor needs to consider a state run food distribution system. Drive through style. Pre-boxed, maybe two or three varieties. Food banks are already doing this, and should also receive assistance, but I worry a lot of people will run out of food.

There is no reason why anyone should run out of food. There is plenty to go around and nothing has happened to interrupt the supply. The problem is panic buying. People are freaking out for no reason. Some like to blame the media but it's not the fault of the media, it's stupid people being stupid.

The little cat barely left my lap yesterday. She is definitely loving this.
Philosophy major here, I think I write well but only I know what I'm trying to say most of the time
