I once built a real junker of a bike as a joke. It only had a front brake, and I Tefloned the rim of the wheel to reduce stopping power. It was a 10-speed frame, so, of course, I put BMX handle-bars on it. As a head-badge for this rolling death-trap? I steamed off a Guinness Stout label.
