I like that sign. It indicates dogs must be under control... But it doesn't specifically say they must be on a leash.

What about the part that says, "Dog on lead..."?

Not pertaining to bicycles, but a sign that I found a bit confusing in Canada (no jumping off motorcycles?):

I suppose terrain has a lot to do with that. Where I live is mountain goat territory.

Certainly looks like you got around a fair bit and saw a lot.

We got up into the mountains a bit on the 300K audax event we did ... further north, Mount Mee. But thankfully, much of that ride was flatter.

Ehh, Mt. Mee, you can keep that one. It would not be flatter-ing to my back-side pedalling up that hill. Bardon is hilly enough thanks. ;-)

We did it on March 26 ... a nice HOT day.

Fortunately, I've been climbing stairs like crazy and practising on the hills around Hobart.

CUTE!!!

My guess it is "real", at least the sign part. I don't see a lock on the bike frame, so it was probably posed for the photo.

There is a bike frame in Portland locked to a post with the U-Lock going through the pedal holes of the crank arm. So, I think it was intended to be there as a warning. I'll see if it is still there the next I'm up that way.

Looks like it!

No ... it's actually a warning for pedestrians getting off the Brisbane Cat that they might be in danger of being trampled by a herd of cyclists.

I once posted to this thread on the Commuting Forum, “Scared of the cars passing me”.

While this kind of sign may make some cyclists disgruntled, what one has to realise is that this is in Victoria, BC ... cyclists ride on the road here.
