Post your gravel bike

Not ride pics where the scenery is the subject. There is a thread for that.

This thread is for the bikes themselves. Whatcha got?

Just post a photo or three so that everyone can see what bike you ride.

1976 Raleigh Competition, 531 Reynolds, here with 700 x38 tires I used only briefly. Running 35's currently. Also added water bottle bosses which I now semi-regret. Burned up several drill bits trying to drill into that Reynolds 531, it's very tough stuff.

Love them. I bought them after I crashed my bike and had one of the 105 shifters blow apart. I realized that they are made of a lot of fragile plastic. By comparison, the Gevenalles are industrial grade. All proprietary parts are machined aluminum. Parts count is low. I plan to disassemble one at some point to really get a look.

I also like how the lever position indicates what gear the bike is in. The levers move in the same direction as the derailleurs.

The only negative is that it's more difficult to shift when I'm in the drops. I really have to stretch my fingers up. To do so, I'm twisting my upper body in an unnatural way. But, when I tour or gravel ride, I am on the hoods 90% of the time. So no biggie.

Nah. This is a neighborhood just outside the Brandon area I live in. This is the scenic part of my ride.

Ok if it’s a work in progress? Miyata 610 with a broken fork meets Aquila Strada Max with a broken frame.

Nice. How does that frame compare to the Triple Cross? I have seen a couple triple crosses selling for much less $$$ than the popular touring models. What exactly are the differences, anyone know?

I'm considering converting the Raleigh Competition above to fixed gear, and with the ability to run 38's, that could be a lot of fun.

I see no reason why, While i'm on my Trekking bike, I need a different one,

just because the pavement has ended.. and the road is now gravel..

You dont need a gravel bike because your cycling skills surpass those of mere mortals like the rest of us.***

I am surprised you didn't go put of your way to mention that many of the bikes pictured are made in Asia since you cant seem to help forcing that into conversations daily.

All seriousness though, your post is absurd. You could ride your touring bike in crits or singletrack too. It's be dumb, but you could do it.
don't shame people for having a bike intended to perform for a specific style ridong.
