12 miles today after 5 months

Had a bunion and plantar fasciitis removed from my left foot on Aug 24 finally back on the bike. Didn’t go too far in case my foot wouldn’t hold up. The ride went well but I feel the fitness loss and I felt like a whale so back to training I go. Probably go 20 miles tomorrow and in no time I think my fitness will return.

That plantar stuff really hurts, I got lucky in that mine went away on its own.

20.52 miles today beat that arctic cold front. Sore arse as expected but that will pass. Tomorrow will be cold highs in the 50s above zero glad I’m in South Texas.

Congrats!

(My PT starts Thursday. But I got out for a 10K during a Patriots playoff game. It was cold, the roads were empty. So happy. )
