1984 Super record rear derailleur ball bearing jockey Wheels
I removed the jockey wheels on my super record rear derailleur from 1984. Totally disassembled them down to the ball bearings. Was only then I noticed that the silver covers have a pip molded into them. I didn't take notice whether the silver cover with a pip goes on the inside of the cage or the outside of the cage. Does anybody have an idea? It seems it's designed to prevent the cover from spinning around. I just don't know whether there's an accepted way of having it oriented. Steve
