Fat Carbon Forks?
Hi, I have a Litespeed Arenberg Ti road bike that i've "gravelized" by using 650b wheels with ultralight 38mm Panaracer Gravel Kings. The Most Comfortable bike Ever. Now my riding partner, who rides an Abrams Tank On 2 Wheels and wonders why I pass him on hills, has seen the light and asked me to build him a similar bike. I found a great used ti frame w/ carbon fork in his size but the fork is 4-5mm too narrow for 650 x 38 tires so i'm in search of a carbon 700c fork that's fat enough to clear the 38mm tires we need to use. I've been searching eBay all week with no luck yet. So here's my question:
What bike models over the past 10 - 15 yrs came with 700c carbon forks that could accept 700 x 32 or bigger? IE: "light touring" bikes, etc?
