what is the best way to break in a new set so that they don't make the most annoying sound ever heard?

XTR's? Weren't these just unveiled about 10 minutes ago? Or are you referring to the XT's?

Actually xtr disc brakes have been out for like 2 years.......the best way to break them in is to use them.
