Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Black post is the only reasonable solution on that bike IMO.

Haven't measured 'em yet. Those Grifos look great, too. Was considering going tubeless after these wear out and it's hard to find tubular gumwalls.

grifo and limus are what most of the pros seem to be using, they have clincher and tubeless versions of both which is nice, but theyre like $65 a tire

leme know if you ever bust out a caliper or ruler

I vote for a silver stem to lighten it up a little. Wabi's make for such great builds.

Which saddle is that? If I remember correctly you used to have a fizik arione? How does this new one compare?

Picked up the frame last week in Chicago from CL. Replaced my Jamis Sonik. Total parts swap over minus the chain. Didn't realize that the bike was not centered on the bridge + missed near perfect picture = fail. Taken on shake down run.

Black stem/red tape would find feng shui.

It is a brooks c17.
Yes, i did previously have a arione, and then briefly a aliante. Neither got along with my backside. So far i am liking the c17. I haven't had that much time on it yet.
