looked em up, they look like the beautiful lovechild of a grifo and a small block 8
i only see 32mm. are they true to size?

Haven't measured 'em yet. Those Grifos look great, too. Was considering going tubeless after these wear out and it's hard to find tubular gumwalls.

Does the silver post offend you? It bothered me at first, but im getting used to it. Would a silver stem help balance it out? Specifically this.

Picked up the frame last week in Chicago from CL. Replaced my Jamis Sonik. Total parts swap over minus the chain. Didn't realize that the bike was not centered on the bridge + missed near perfect picture = fail. Taken on shake down run.

Yes, i did previously have a arione, and then briefly a aliante. Neither got along with my backside. So far i am liking the c17. I haven't had that much time on it yet.
