Low stack height 1" threaded headsets?

I'm currently looking for a low stack height headset for a 1" threaded fork. I did some searching but the last thread was from 5 years ago.

I've found the Tange Passage which is 30.2mm. They're really inexpensive....are these decent? It's just for recreational/city riding.

Anything shorter? I'm currently shopping for used forks and every extra mm counts when you're limited to forks with pre-cut tubes.

The Tange Passage headset is made in Japan and is very good quality for the price. Nothing fancy, but will definitely last a long time if properly greased and adjusted. You will be hard pressed to find anything that isn't complete junk with a shorter stack.

while i dont have any actual helpful advice to give you, i would however, like to congratulate you on not only using the search function correctly, but not resurrecting a thread from the previous decade.

I just installed one on one of my Vintage Bike Frames. Not bad for a sub $10 headset, I needed all the help with stack height I could find, it was about the only one I found. I think all Vintage Bikes were cut for a low stack height,

That's some short stack there with the tange passage.

If you want fancy with short stack check out the dura ace 7600 headset. It has a pinch more stack at 31mm but dura ace quality with bells and whistles such as titanium nitrite coated races and polycarbonate body.
A bit rare and pricey though.

Awesome. Thanks for the help.

It's always a bit shocking when you see it's only $10, made in Japan, and then people mentioning it's actually decent quality.

The Ritchey Logic threadless headset has only 27mm of stack and is totally fine. I have been using one on my beater for over a year with no issues.

OP needs threaded, not threadless.
