Help ID older Gary Fisher full suspension bike frame
I recently "rescued" a full suspension Gary Fisher frame from my local transfer station(read: dump), the frame does not have a model name on it. When I got home I noticed a very sizable hole in the seat tube, I believe it renders the frame useless. I have a hard time seeing things wasted and am looking to strip the bike of all remaining parts i.e. seatpost, cranks, brakes, Fox DHX 5.0 rear shock and maybe even the rear triangle. I cannot yet add photos here on the forum but the serial number is WR0648670. Could anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks!

That looks like a GF Sugar model from the early 2000's, with an upgraded coil/remote reservoir shock. Beyond that I don't know the nuances between Sugar models 1,2,3 or 4.

Looks like it's a Trek era GF. Check out this info:

That frame has had a long and useful life, but it is time to move on. I believe it belongs where you found it.

Where is the hole?
No discs or even disc tabs.
MTBR has a Vintage subforum, perhaps go there. Someone might want components. Vintage Trek site has GF catalogs to help with ID. I’m not finding one with a coil, that might be a replacement

It has disc tabs or it has the spot to bolt disk tabs on to. Had a 2003 GF sugar 29er years ago and even then the adapter was a PITA to find.

The shock looks very suspect to me.
I doubt they ever made that shock on a size that would fit a Sugar of that early vintage, and the dent in the frame looks like it may have come from the rear triangle bottoming hard.
All clues point to this frame having passed through the hands of a complete idiot who trashed it. I would not trust any part of the frame.
Pull the components and recycle the frame..
