Maximum tire size all city nature boy

I have been doing some measuring on my all city nature boy to determine if i can run tires larger than the spec maximum of 700x38cc. Based on what i can tell you can go up to a 45. Any body try this on theirs?

I had some 42mm Ritcheys on mine. Tire manufacturer's measurements can vary greatly. I probably wouldn't go bigger than about 42mm if there's any chance you'll come across mud.

Old topic. Itstimothy - Did you end up trying the RnR's? I've got some RnR's, but don't have a NB frame to put it on to check clearance.

I have 42cc CST Servants on mine. They fit fine, although you need to move the rear back a bit in the track ends. Also can squeeze a skinny fender in with them as well---but, they wil rub if your wheel is the slightest out of true.

palu, I ended up scoring a set of stans no tubes wheels with some 33 cc kendas so I gave up on the large tire nature boy. I plan to some BG's on my Raleigh Tamland (which makes more sens) once the tubeless version hits.

(I know this thread is old, but it contains useful information that I thought I could add to.)

I have been using the new WTB Nano 40C Race on my Nature Boy with great results. Plenty of room for mud. Soaking up road bumps and gravel like a champ.

Has anyone tried Rock & Roads?

I have fit 42 cst servants on mine with fenders, but the wheel needs to be at the back end of the track ends and very very minimal clearance for mud or if your wheel goes out of true.
