Hello from Tucson

Hi Folks,
Today it was my first time riding a road bike. The bike is the schwinn solara from target.

According to Strava I did 7miles in 37min. It was a nice workout. Felt good. Easy on my knees and feet. The chair is very uncomfortable, though.

Other than that I think I found a morning exercise I can stick with, I’m liking it.

Thanks!

Glad to see that you adjusted to the new bike fairly easily. That means you are cut out for riding! That being said, Welcome to Bike Forums!!

Welcome to Bike Forums! Here's your first nugget of learning: it's called a saddle, not a chair. Enjoy!

Welcome to Bike Forums, carofe! I need to spend more time in the "chair", and less on the couch.
