New recumbent trike rider
Hello All, I have really missed biking for many years, I was busted up pretty badly in a tussle with a Pepsi Semi in south Florida in 1991 and haven't been able to ride since, that is until I came across my E-Z 3 USX by Sun Cycles. I love it and am really enjoying cycling again. Not fast but loads of fun.. I have been to several bike shops and none of them are able to give me much information about this trike and some seem to be annoyed that I asked. Hopefully I will be able to get some help here and I will do my best to help where I can.

Welcome back to cycling and welcome to Bike Forums. You've come to the right place. Try our Recumbents sub-forum for help with your trike, then do an advanced search for Sun Cycles.

Welcome and congrats on the trike. Head over to the recumbent section and ask any questions you need answers to. We're here to help.

That attitude for bike shops is not unusual. When I showed up at the large Midwest bike shop I once worked in with my Greenspeed GTO all of the current workers came out to see it, pissing off the boss who had been my longtime friend. He had zero interest in recumbents in general.
Sun has become Sunseeker in the past year or so. You can still find the Sun name used. You can find a review and list of specifications for your trike here: Sun EZ-3 USX Recumbent Trike - Bicycle Man or from the manufacturer's website EZ-3 USX HD ? Sun Seeker Bicycles . Another good source for information is www.bentrideronline.com. Your trike was designed for use by someone who is fairly hefty and still not damage the frame or wheels. If you can successfully ride a 65 pound trike, think of what you could do on one that weighs half that much?
