Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

De Rosa Idol framesets opinions please

Hi, Has anyone got a De Rosa Idol bike and likes to share his -her experience? I am thinking of buying one.
It's from 70% T1000, & 30% T700 carbon. Is it worth considering this?
Thanks

Sexy frame, I would buy it based on aesthetics and purely superficial level! I have not really considered the carbon composition of a bike during a purchase. I am a De Rosa fan, so my view is biased. But I highly doubt you could go wrong with that frame.

Can't go wrong with De Rosa. I just purchased the
SK Pininfarina frameset and in the process of building one of my dream bikes. The frame is stunning!

I'm in a holding pattern until Campagnolo introduces Super Record EPS in 12-spd.

The Idol is a beautiful bike. I have never ridden one but it is the bike I would buy if I were in the market for a new frame.
