Converting back to SS
I have been riding a converted Univega super Strada the past couple of years until this year when I finally got a entire Suntour Superb Pro group gathered up to install. I have been riding with the new group installed for a few weeks now but I am missing the single speed. The group I have a fantastic but in all honesty shifting is really taking the enjoyment out of my rides now. Now I have the dilemma of keeping her the way she is now with the new group , converting back to a single speed or find a new frame to build up as a SS. If I get a new frame I would like one that I have the option to fit larger tires if need be . Any suggestions are welcome!

I actually scout out new FG routes on a road bike shifted into a 70" gear, the same as my FG, to test how doable the hills are w/o having to commit to a do-or-die effort.
PS: N+1 of course....

Superbe Pro is definitely one of the worst when it comes to ruining rides. Go ahead and ship it down here and I'll dispose of it for you.
And yeah. N+1. Options.

A pic of the finished Univega would be nice. Regarding tire clearance, there was a recent thread on here (I think about a winter fixed gear frame) that lots of folks chimed in with frame options. Top contenders were the All City Nature Boy and Wabi Classic (but the Wabi max's out at 32c).
