Kilo TT Stripper

Was looking to buy a Kilo TT Stripper edition from Bikes Direct but found one on Craigslist for $250 Craigslist. I am just curious if they have downgraded/upgraded any of the parts from the stock version they would have received. Here are they specs they cite vs the setup from BD:

Sram S300 165mm Crankset vs TruVativ Touro aluminum arms, 130 BCD, 48T PowerSpline
Sram GXP bottom bracket vs Sealed Cartridge 108mm PowerSpline
52/16, Izumi chain vs KMC Gold Edition (1/8 or 3/32 NoChoice)
Cinelli Mash Bullhorn Bars 40cm vs Butted 6061 Aluminum Classic Bend
Cinelli Pista Stem vs Forged Aluminum, 8 degree, Removable 26.0 Clamp, Silver Finish, Threadless 1"
Kalloy Seat Post vs SL Micro Adjust Aluminum 250mm x 26.8mm
Sram Rival Front Brake vs Tektro R350 aluminum dual pull
Cane Creek 40 Headset vs Threadless 1"
H+Plus Son Archetype wheelset Origin 8 Hubs vs 36H Aluminum Aero Section Track DoubleWall, Kenda Koncept Lite Kevlar bead 700x23c high pressure road, presta valve tubes

Cheers

Sounds like a good deal if it fits. Those are all quality parts. I've never owned a Kilo so can't speak to the original parts, but it looks like those are all nice upgrades.

Thank you. The fit is my concern as well. Might be a bit small for me but I think its worth the look.

It looks like things have mostly been upgraded. Some of the stuff is still low end parts but some of it is decent. If you can test ride the bike and it fits go for it. I personally am not a fan of any bike that you cannot test ride especially for newer riders. Bikes Direct has bought out names from older brands with some prestige and then produced mostly meh to blech bikes with those badges and names on them to give them faux prestige. The Pound Sign: KiloTT is generally popular around these parts though.

That one on Craigslist has some pretty nice parts on it. Not anything high-end, but all good stuff. Most or all of it is somewhat of an upgrade from the BikesDirect model. It sounds like a good deal at 250 bux, assuming it's in good condition.
