Schwinn Primus

Can anyone tell me what a Schwinn Primus should sell for? I saw a very clean refurb on sale the other day for 180 bucks, and the damn thing looked brand new.

If you mean the Schwinn Premis from the 80's with Columbus Tenax tubing, and it looks brand new, yeah, jump on it at $180. It will probably still need work - consumables (tires, tubes, cables, bar tape etc.), and new grease - but it's a fine ride if you're willing to fix it up yourself.

Yes, buy it. The Premis was a very nice ride with decent components. 22 lb. bike.
