Can someone help me with my training wheels?
Hi there, and thanks for allowing me onto the forums.
I'm mainly an Old School BMX fan with a small collection of parts and bikes in various states of restoration. I build everything to ride, and try to keep everything well under budget, but that usually doesn't play out very well. I'm 30 and currently living in Chilliwack B.C. (Canada), but i'm moving to Edmonton AB this summer.
I just finished typing out my intended first post as a build thread over in the vintage section, but not being permitted to post pictures until I loose my 10 post training wheels has delayed that. So here I am over here hoping to shake a few hands and make some new friends while not "spamming" for the sake of posts.
My current collection:
1982 Kuwahara Apollo 24" Cruiser (my daily commuter)
1982 Kuwahara KE-1/KYZ (custom paint ET style)
1983 Tange Shogun Hot Heart (recently disassembled for a remodel)
1984 Kuwahara Bravo (restoration underway)
1985 Diamond Back Viper/Pacer 500 (frame and fork project)
1985 Kuwahara Road Bike (my intended SSS commuter project)
1986 Kuwahara Magician (a period custom using OG, NOS and aftermarket parts)
1987 Kuwahara Magician EX (a frameset on the back burner until I can paint it)
As you can see I am partial to the Japanese bikes... Likely a by-product of my first bike being a hand-me-down 1984 Kuwahara Apollo.
Hopefully I'll get enough posts under my belt to post some pictures of them and possibly a build thread or two.
Hope to make some new friends and learn a thing or two.

That way it gives time to catch the spam posts because back in the day, they would flood the forum with hundreds all at once!
Welcome, by the way. Hope the first limit doesn't discourage you.

It's just for the first five posts and then for the second five. After that, you can post away.

That actually makes a lot of sense. Thanks for clearing that up!
