Thanks. I always assume that you are only entering a sweepstakes where only one gift is handed out, but this appears to be real. I will find out later if it actually arrives here.

If REI did a price match, I would be over there in a minute, but nobody does a price match when the price is zero.
Thanks again for posting. I passed the word on to some friends and family.

I got my new Princeton Tec Snap 200 in the mail under this free promotion. Thanks again.
I think that the beam is too wide for it to be a very good bike light for on road use where you might be looking 50 to 75 feet ahead. But the beam I thought was great for an on-the-head type of headlamp. It is pretty bright, I like the way that you can set it to a variety of dimmer settings for headlamp use. As a bike light, it might be a good beam for mountain biking on trails where you might need a wider beam than you might otherwise want on a road bike, but I am more of a road user, not so much single track at night kind of rider so my judgement on that might not be very good.
I do not think I would have paid the $39.95 for it that REI is charging.

But I already have half a dozen perfectly functional LED headlamps for my head. So, something would have to be really GREAT for me to buy yet one more headlamp. When packing up for a trip, I have often had two or three headlamps (for my head) in my hands and am trying to figure out which one to pack for that trip.
Thanks again. For the price, I certainly am happy to have one more headlamp.

Thanks from me, too, for the heads up on this. I got mine in the mail yesterday - from some woman in Indiana. There was no company name or anything to indicate where it was coming from, so I had visions of the Unabomber in my mind as I opened it.
Seems like a nice little light. I certainly like the ability to use it in different ways.
