Reminds me of when I notice a fine condition Schwinn Krate, but the pictures had the sissy bar on backwards, which I think scared off some potential buyers. I might have gotten a great deal on it, but didn't use a sniper in those days, and couldn't get my last bid in on time. The only other bidder stole it for just $600, and it was probably worth a good grand or more.

(I prefer the Groucho, with mustache handlebars. The Chico is a bit dull. Steer clear of the Zeppo; a boring ride.)
Gags aside that's an interesting looking bike from the late pre-Internet period. Appears to have a suspension stem and one of those Scott handlebars with the bar-ends bent in.

That Haro was actually sold with a Girvin Flexstem installed. I've seen several, and they all seem to be the large 22" frame size and by now they all have faded paint from sun exposure. If you find one that's bright solid orange it's been parked inside since new. I think they faded on test rides.

in 2002 I bought a bugeye WRX hatchback. My first choice was yellow and second was blue but I just couldn't find either of them - I heard there were only 500 of the yellows imported that year, and yellow hatchbacks were nearly nonexistent. Blue was the most popular. I got mine in black, a stupid choice for Ridgecrest but I wanted one bad! Seeing how the yellow ones have aged, it's just as well. There's just something about bright paint that goes away

The price of this bicycle is $1175.... This is an absurd price for bicycle with components like this.

2002 was called Blaze Yellow and 2003 was called Sonic Yellow and the former is definitely paler. But they still look faded now.

Maybe it's absurd because he meant $950 OBO.

Maybe the oddest assortment of "extras" I've ever seen offered with a bike. Includes cookie butter(!?).

That one looks like nothing was assembled backwards at least, just someone let the fork flop all the way around and took a picture without correcting it.
