Well, he's a celebrity in my world - Tim Commerford, bass player with Rage Against The Machine. It's (un)common knowledge that he's knows his way around a MTB trail*, but apparently he's also au fait with leaning on road bikes**. Couldn't bear to part with the baggies though!

I only remember the Motocompo from the 80s, but it looked like a box with wheels.
If Honda still makes them, maybe they don't market them strongly in the continental US?

The Honda Step uses a refined version of the Raccoon, with the 24V / 10-Ah battery mounted just above it, and it can fold small enough to fit in a trunk. Honda designed the Step in 2003 and made a small number of them in order to test them in the Japanese market. For some reason Honda then Stepped out of the electric bike business…and hasn’t peeped a word about it since.
