Question about Slime Smart inner tube.
Will a Slime Smart tube 29x 1.85 fit on a norco hybrid 700c rim?
If not what kind of bike is it for exactly? I can get them for less than an ordinary tube.
If they don't fit my bike they may fit my mechanic's.

29" and 700 c are the SAME rim diameter... what width is your TIRE?
and do be aware that Slime will plug the valve stem up, rendering your inner tube unable to take in air.... just sayin'....

I had heard that slime could block valves but thought that a tube put out by slime would work better.

sometimes the valve gets so slimed, it refuses to be removed , and the tube is then useless.
the 700x40 tire will accept the the 29x1.85 tube.
1.85" x 25.4 = 46.99... the tube will be a bit large ... meh...
if you take care to not let slime enter the valve, it won't clog as soon. If you over-inflate, rotate the valve to half way up/down position before letting air out, ok?
when i find Slimed tubes on bikes i refurbish, i remove them, then toss them in the trash can.

I have some Slime brand tubes that say that the puncture-filling product is applied only to the "outside" portion of the tube, and is not liquid, but closer to solid, which means it does not present an issue regarding plugging the valve. So far, so good, on my 26" MTB rear tire. It's been on for about a year.
