Woo Hoo! Move on to rebuild
Picked up my Ochsner frame and fork from the powder coat shop. I really like the color, especially in the sunshine. Too late now to shoot pix outdoors. The color is called Illusion Root Beer. The bike was originally blue and I was going to do some kind of blue again. However, looking at all the options, 6500+ in powders, I kept coming back to this one. I am very pleased with the result. I ordered a new head set and bottom bracket and hope to start the rebuild in the next couple of days.

The powder coat was done at Bicycles Vintage & Retro in Lincoln Delaware, Fred Clark ( Retro Cruiser Bicycles banana bikes beach cruisers bicycle retro vintage kustom custom ). e-mail vintagebodies@yahoo.com. I went to his shop and looked at some bikes he had already coated that were still there. I really liked what I saw and took my frame/fork to have him coat coat it. I have another bike I am thinking about doing the same thing to. If I do that, it will be a one stage coating with less gloss.
