Caltrans bike highway survey

Caltrans Bay Area researching bike highways. I'm assuming (perhaps naively) that if a lot of people participate in the above survey is will indicate interest in the project and spur it on. There's other info on that page and email list signup to stay informed.

My cheapest suggestion was to have people walk on the left side of ALL trails.
The permits them to see approaching bike traffic. Far safer.
I was very surprised to find this implemented on the Sacramento American River trail. It was awesome !

Mine was to keep walkers OFF the trails. But I'm misanthropic....
