Could have gone larger
I wanted a wheelset built up with tires suitable for gravel roads for my one and only bike, the vintage Peugeot. I had hopes that a 30mm would fit so I bought a pair of Donnelly 700x30 tires. Once mounted and installed I see that 32’s would have fit just fine...oh well, I like what I have right now.

You're being a tease. Where is the rest of the bike? I'm running 28c tires on my 1982 Peugeot PXN 10 and I'll bet it can take 32c tires as well.

Check back with this thread in a year or so... tires tend to grow, as they age... in a few months these may be just right.

Did you verify the tire width with a caliper? My Bianchi works fine with Continental 700Cx28 tires, which run 2-3mm small, but not with Specialized with the same callout/label dimension, which run about 1-2mm large.

You and me both. I'm modding my PXN 10 soon with 50/36 rings and a 13-30 6 speed freewheel. The simplex short cage Rd that came stock on the bike can handle a pretty big freewheel (unlike a campy).
