I half expected to read that some wheel suckers got to enjoy your shiraz too - nice job keeping what's yours... yours.

You can use PEDs, (Performance Enhancement Drugs) or PWDs, (Performance Worsening Drugs). Red wind is a PWD. Not only that, why would you want a substance that detracts from your necessary attention while cycling, that is dangerous enough as it is?

And no.
I like red wine and I like to ride but not at the same time.
Except maybe on a beach cruiser on the beach on a moonlit night with my sweetie.

Why do you want red specifically? Unfortunately, enjoying wine is a lot like enjoying your bike. Just because it fits you doesn't mean it will fit the next person. If you're new to wine drinking/tasting/connoisseuring start out easy. I'd recommend Schmitt Sohne reislings as one of my favorites. Barefoot Wines are on the cheap(er) side to and most of their whites are enjoyable as well. A good Moscato, Red Moscato or Reisling and you can't go wrong.

I sense non-serious post here..
I enjoy sipping wine as well as an occasional brandy. When it comes to wine I prefer reds but will partake of my wife's Rieslings and Spatlese but this is an evening activity well after all riding is over. Alcohol prior to the ride is a bad idea.
