TS Isaac
I am kicking the tires on this TS Isaac. Columbus SP tubing, mostly super record components. It’s selling for real money, not cheap.
What is a fair price?

We've been mulling over this one at the shop.
First of all, I wouldn't part this one out. Not saying you would.
It's a beautiful survivor that doesn't deserve to get pulled apart.
Now, the market won't likely go for big $$$$.
As nice as it is, there simply aren't that many buyers looking for a TS Isaacs at this point.
If it were offered at the low end, say $500 to $750, I think it would make an exceptional project and could be a real bike to be proud of for years to come.
Why don't you PM forum member John Thompson.
If I remember, he has a beautiful example of a TS Isaacs and could likely fill in the blanks for you.
Finally, what's the frame size? I've owned three bikes built from SP and I liked the way they rode.

No worries about parting it out Grady, I don’t own it. I’ve never been able to bring myself to part out a bike either. It’s on my local Craigslist, for 1,500. I assumed 1,500 was steep and 1,000 was pretty fair. Still, this is a top shelf frame with all top shelf components. I even like the selection of SP tubing. However, finding the Melton for sale here will likely mean that I’m going to pass on this one.
A thou is also tough.
As a reference, I was able to put my Weigle together for far less than $1,500.
Glad to hear you have the Melton lined up.
That is a very nice frameset as well and will keep you busy.
Don't forget pics when you get it finished.

Sad thing is, even $1K will not attract many buyers on CL. In my area, any bike over $300 struggles there. If the seller really wanted to get it into the hands of the right buyer, try selling it here or on any of the FBM classic bike groups. Then the price is commensurate with the quality and the maker, both top-notch. If this frame were my size, I'd be all over it.

CL just doesn't cut it anymore.
I find it to be an almost total waste of my time for bike related items.
I certainly could be wrong, but $1,500 is a really optimistic number.
It looks like a great bike and would be fun to own, but let's face it.
The bike business is super saturated with product and the only categories I see selling well right now are off road/all road or ebikes.
One almost has to give away used bikes atm.

CR would be a great place to notify potential buyers, as well as ebay.

Having just started looking for some of the marque names in American frame building it does seem to be a good time to buy, relatively. Seems Weigle & Sachs (maybe Kvale & a couple others) are in their own category, then Appel, Fuso, Gangl, Davidson, Isaac, Spectrum and others can be had at 1/4 the price of the others.
