Fiorelli Value

Hey folks. Looking for thoughts on the price and quality of this Fiorelli. Condition isn't great but it isn't terrible yet either. I know the dropouts are not campy but I don't recognize what the stamping in them is. I am new pretty new to the C&V thing though so my history doesn't go very deep. Are the brake levers Modolo like the calipers?

Those are Dia-Compe Aero Gran Compe (AGC) levers. The post size, if correct, is indicative of Columbus Aelle, a lower mid-range, plain gauge, carbon-manganese tubeset. Decal remnants also look like Aelle. Dropouts are stamped Coppi (another Fiorelli brand) but are manufactured by Columbus. Chainring is Coppi pantographed. Highlight is the retro-friction Simplex shift levers. As it sits, $150.

Stress marks on downtube at head lug suggest an impact.

Underside of downtube just aft of head lug appears to exhibit deformation.

YIKES!!! What a mess.

Even without the frame damage this is a project worth maybe $100

Calling this only a project is very generous.

Bump. Funny enough, I bought the frame a while back as wall art for $35 or 40. Just the headset and bottom bracket (Ofmega I think).

No major impact in frame, but certainly it's share of pockets of rust. Might simply strip all of the paint, have fun with the painting and still hang it on the wall...or make it into a gravel bike...

Looks like the model might be "Campionissimo", which was the top of the line Fiorelli/Coppi frame. It may be worth putting some effort and $$ in. I have a slightly lower end "Tour de France Special" model and absolutely love the ride.

Edit: more likely it says "Milano San Remo". Still a nice bike, but not SLX tubing.

Its a Milano San Remo for sure. Not sure what the tubing is...it IS Columbus, but not sure of the level...have not even been able to figure out a year, though it still has Fiorelli decal-ing.

Does it have a serial number anywhere? I have no idea what year mine is from. The BB is stamped 00768, and 60 (which I assume is size). Here's a FB group: https://www.facebook.com/pages/categ...5077262204583/
