Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Rear brake cable. It's too long at the front and too short at the rear.

Ah yes, I noticed that too. All I had to do was pull it from the back and it’s alright now. Thanks!

Oh good stuff, I was thinking it was two separate pieces of housing.

I think they are talking about the Cinelli, not the Cippolini.

I like it better this way since the cable is protected the entire way. I was present when my mechanic was assembling the bike so we could have used two pieces but imo and his this gives better protection and prevents cable rattle.

Bought this CAAD12 about 3 weeks ago. I don't know if it's "hot" but it is an amazing ride.

It's getting there. I would like to see some different wheels though. And the chain is displayed wrong.

Those are the stock Aksiums. They have been replaced with Ksyrium Elite USTs. They are amazing and the bike is now down to 17 lb 10 oz it sits.

I am now running Mavic Ksyrium Elite USTs. They are lighter, more comfortable and roll much more easily than any clinchers I've ever ridden. The wheel swap has resulted in a drop in weight from 18 lb 5 oz to 17 lb 10 oz. FWIW this CAAD 12 is the 105 version and it has Speedplay Zeros. .

I agree; I will put black bar tape but waiting to upgrade the handlebars first. This current (stock) handlebar tape is really comfy though so I’m not in a rush

I like the mix of old school lugged frames, CF and fine Italian craftsmanship. My C50 gives me all those things in one bike.

Can't tell much other than the blue Ram truck has duel exhaust and you ride near water. Better presentation would help decide the status of the bike.

That is flipping gorgeous.

Sorry about that, I knew they weren't the best, but it's the best I have; the bikes are in the USA and I am in the Philippines working.
